Greenbelt Landing Clive Redevelopment Project Opened - 7-28-2026

Greenbelt Landing, Clive’s Greenbelt redevelopment project, located adjacent to the Clive Aquatic Center, officially opened last week. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship provided cost share funding for the site, which includes a stormwater wetland created to treat and manage stormwater runoff flowing into Walnut Creek. Storm water first moves through a series of bioretention cells for treatment as it makes its way from the parking lot and street into the wetland, prior to reaching the creek. This is one of several projects completed by the City of Clive to improve water quality.
