Description
Crossroads Park is a larger community park owned and managed by the City of West Des Moines. The proposed project would utilize a variety of best management practices, including a series of bioretention cells along the existing parking lot, development of an existing creek into a regenerative stream channel with native plantings, and soil quality restoration. These would treat a large amount of stormwater within the park, as well as water entering from adjacent areas, including a large apartment complex and significant runoff from the adjacent interstate system.
