Description
Lake View is planning to construct a community center on 4.2 acres of land about ¼ mile north of Black Hawk Lake. This will be an opportunity to install urban stormwater best management practices in a highly publicized new development project. Bioretention practices will be included to help treat water flowing off the parking lot and the community center’s roof. The project will show how commercial sites with high impervious areas can efficiently retain and treat stormwater runoff on their properties.
