Description
This project will build on existing partnerships to focus on revitalizing its historic downtown area utilizing sustainable infrastructure and practices including bio-retention areas and permeable pavers. The project is supported by a diverse coalition of stakeholders with the goal of positioning the City of Bloomfield as a leader in ecologically-based design by demonstrating the implementation of a wide range of innovative technologies.
Most recently, the City has launched several initiatives to achieve a goal of becoming energy independent by 2030, and these projects build upon these efforts and continue momentum of community improvement.
